Here's how the contest works:
• Go to www.AmericasFavoriteSchool.com and vote for your school. •
Once you have voted, spread the word online: post to Facebook and Twitter, send emails through the contest tell-a-friend tool, etc. You will get a personalized URL that you can use to promote the contest in your own emails and networks. With your personalized URL, anyone who votes through that URL gets counted as your "friend" and the 20 people who recruit the most friends to vote win a $50 gift card. Care2 is giving away $35,000 to schools across the country. Schools don't need to register to participate -- all the K-8 schools listed on GreatSchools' website are automatically entered into the contest.
