This is to notify you that the students are not permitted to use their cell phone or send texts, or receive calls/texts while in class or anywhere in the school. If a student needs to get in touch with you, (emergency, illness) he/she may come to the office and office personnel will call you.
If a student is seen doing the above, the cell phone will be confiscated and kept in the office. You will be notified of this and asked to come in to retrieve the cell phone. This is stated in the Parent/Guardian/Student Handbook.
They may use their cell phone once dismissed from school.
Please talk with your child about this rule and enforce it.
