Harvest Festival 2010

Plenty of parent volunteers who  helped with face painting and various other activities. Pastor James made homemade apple butter. Pastor also provided materials for all the students to make witchy apples. Student Council made popcorn which was distributed to all students.  Grace School provided donuts and juice boxes. Everyone received a pumpkin thanks to Pastor. A great time was had by all.

Terra Nova Tests

Dear Parent or Guardian:

The Terra Nova Tests will be administered next week to students in grade 1 - 8. We suggest that your son/daughter gets to bed early and has a healthy breakfast the next day. Hopefully we'll have 100% attendance every day so that everyone will take the test and not worry about a remake.

The Terra Nova test shows your child's strengths and weaknesses. The weaknesses could reflect that your child did not understand or that part of the curriculum was never taught. This test is a measuring rod for the teacher. It shows the teacher in what area your child needs more preparation and help.

This test does not test your child's I.Q. and it does not tell you how smart he/she is. Please don't look at it that way.

Fwd: October Calendar, Sandwiches, Yearbook

Dear Parent or Guardian:

1.  The October calendar was distributed today.  If your son/daughter did not bring it home, please check our web page.

2.  There were only a handful of students who ordered sandwiches for our Tuesday lunch.  Please let us know if your son/daughter would like something other than.......peanut butter & jelly, tuna, turkey and cheese.  We'll order it when we place our November order.

3.  Your input is important and we need your opinion regarding the school's Yearbook Every year, each class creates a 1/2 page class ad and each child brings in $5.00 to cover the cost of the ad.  In June everyone who brought in their $5.00 receives a Yearbook.  Please let us know if you would be willing to pay $10.00 for the Yearbook which will be distributed in June.  Your participation is very much appreciated.

Thank you for your cooperation.
